My baby absolutely loves his owl rattle! The quality is very good, I do own other unfinished wooden rattles and honestly this one is by far the best. Its very smooth with rounded edges and wipes really well with soapy water-no splintering of any kind so far. Its pretty thick and therefore very easy for a baby to grab.
