This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed on www.woodentoystory.com are processed, shipped, tracked, and delivered.
This policy applies only to purchases made directly through our website. If you purchased a Wooden Toy Story product from another retailer, marketplace, or third-party seller, please contact that seller directly.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service and should be read together with our Refund & Return Policy and Privacy Policy.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits, excludes, or replaces any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under the laws of your country, state, province, territory, or region ("Statutory Rights"). If any part of this policy conflicts with your mandatory Statutory Rights, your Statutory Rights will apply.
Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days after we receive your order confirmation and payment verification.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays in the relevant fulfillment location, payment provider location, carrier location, or destination country.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
During peak seasons, holidays, promotional periods, high order volume, product restocks, or unexpected operational delays, processing may take longer.
Once your order has been processed and handed to the shipping carrier, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information.
Please note that order processing time is separate from delivery time. Estimated delivery times begin after your order has been processed and handed to the carrier.

If your country or region is not available at checkout, we may not currently be able to ship to your location.
Our primary cross-border logistics partner is YunExpress / Yuntu Logistics.
Depending on your destination country, package size, shipping method, and carrier availability, your order may also be handled by local or regional delivery partners for final-mile delivery.
These final-mile delivery partners may include, but are not limited to, USPS, Royal Mail, Canada Post, Australia Post, local postal services, or other local couriers.
The carrier shown in your tracking updates may change during transit. This is normal for international shipments, especially when a package is transferred from the international carrier to a local last-mile delivery provider.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order value, order weight, package dimensions, shipping method, and destination address.
Shipping rates may vary by country, region, remote area, product type, and selected shipping option.
From time to time, we may offer free shipping, promotional shipping rates, or discounted shipping rates. Any such offer may be subject to additional terms, order minimums, destination restrictions, or limited-time availability.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, shipping fees do not include customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, local handling charges, or other charges imposed by your destination country or region.

These charges are determined by your local customs authority, tax authority, postal service, or delivery carrier. They are not controlled by Wooden Toy Story.
Unless expressly stated at checkout, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, local charges, and similar fees are not included in the product price or shipping fee.
The recipient is responsible for paying any applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, local charges, or similar costs required by the destination country or region, unless such charges have already been collected at checkout or are otherwise included in the shipping service selected.
For UK and EU customers: where applicable and shown at checkout, VAT for eligible low-value orders may be calculated and collected at checkout. This can help provide a smoother customs clearance experience and reduce the chance of additional VAT being requested upon delivery.
For UK orders, this may apply to eligible orders with a consignment value of £135 or less. For EU orders, this may apply to eligible orders with a consignment value of €150 or less where applicable VAT/IOSS arrangements are used.
For orders above these thresholds, or where VAT, duties, import taxes, customs charges, or local fees are not collected at checkout, additional charges may be due upon import or delivery.

Customs clearance may cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, import processing, local tax collection, unpaid duties or taxes, missing customs information, local import rules, or restrictions imposed by your destination country or region.
You are responsible for ensuring that the product you order can be lawfully imported into your country or region.
If a package is delayed, refused, returned, abandoned, or destroyed because of customs issues, unpaid duties or taxes, local import requirements, import restrictions, or failure to complete customs procedures, we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy and applicable law.
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information.
Tracking information may take 24-72 hours to update after the carrier receives the package.
For YunExpress / Yuntu shipments, tracking may show both international transit updates and final-mile delivery updates. In some countries, a local delivery partner may provide a separate tracking number or updated delivery status after the package arrives in the destination country.
As the package enters your country or region, the tracking page may provide a secondary "Local Carrier Tracking Number" for more precise last-mile delivery updates. This local tracking number may allow you to check the package directly with the final-mile carrier, such as USPS, Royal Mail, Canada Post, Australia Post, or another local postal or courier service.

You are responsible for providing the correct recipient name, street address, apartment or unit number, city, state or province, postal code, country, email address, and phone number where required by the carrier.
We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery, returned packages, lost packages, or additional shipping costs caused by an incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable address provided by the customer, except where required by applicable law.

We can only modify the shipping address if the order has not yet been processed, packed, shipped, or handed to the carrier.
Once an order has shipped, we cannot guarantee that the address can be changed.
We may be able to ship to P.O. boxes, parcel lockers, military addresses, or remote areas where supported by the selected carrier and destination country.
However, some shipping services, expedited courier services, or local delivery partners may not deliver to P.O. boxes, parcel lockers, military addresses, rural addresses, or remote areas.
If your address cannot be served by the selected carrier, we may contact you for an alternative address or cancel and refund the order where necessary.
Remote areas may require additional delivery time or additional shipping charges.

We may first ask the carrier to investigate the shipment.
If the carrier confirms that the package is lost in transit, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy and your applicable Statutory Rights. This may include a replacement, refund, store credit, or another suitable remedy.
If the package is lost because the customer provided an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, refused delivery, failed to collect the package, or failed to complete customs or import requirements, we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy and applicable law.

Where tracking confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout, we are not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, misplaced, or removed after delivery, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

If the product is confirmed to be damaged in transit, defective, unsafe, or materially not as described, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy and your applicable Statutory Rights.
If a package is returned to us because it was refused, unclaimed, undeliverable, or because the customer provided an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, we may deduct from any refund the original shipping cost, return shipping cost, carrier charges, customs charges, import fees, or other costs incurred, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
If a package is delayed, refused, returned, abandoned, or destroyed because of customs issues, unpaid duties or taxes, local import requirements, incorrect delivery information, or failure to collect the package, we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy and applicable law.
Please note that refusing a package or failing to collect a package is not the same as an approved return. To return an item, please contact us first and follow our Refund & Return Policy.
In some cases, items in the same order may be shipped separately due to product availability, package size, fulfillment location, carrier restrictions, or operational reasons.
If your order is split into multiple shipments, you may receive more than one tracking number.
You will not be charged additional shipping fees for split shipments unless you choose a paid shipping upgrade or place separate orders.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or restrict shipping to certain countries, regions, addresses, carriers, or delivery locations where permitted by law.
This may include locations affected by carrier suspension, sanctions, customs restrictions, import restrictions, natural disasters, political events, high fraud risk, or operational limitations.
If we are unable to ship your order after payment has been made, we will contact you and issue any required refund in accordance with applicable law.
Shipping issues, including lost packages, damaged products, refused packages, unclaimed packages, incorrect addresses, returned packages, customs delays, defective products, and Non-Conforming Items, are handled together with our Refund & Return Policy.
